Our stay at Thon Alesund was exceptional. The selection offered for breakfast was by far the best we have ever had. Our room was a good size with an awesome view, bed was comfy l and as well as complimentary coffee in the lobby we even had a Nespresso pod machine for our personal use. I have nothing but praise for the staff & cannot recommend the hotel highly enough....I just wish more cities had a Thon hotel

Thé breakfast was excellent. My only regret was that it started being served at 08.00, thus I had little time before my departure for the sightseeing tours. View over the canal or fjord excellent. The position is central,therefore it is easy to move around the city.

Wonderfully positioned right on the water, but back from the main road. Amazing views from the dining room. All day free tea and coffee. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Staff were very efficient, helpful, friendly and polite. Beds were comfy with two pillows per bed.
