A wonderful break away - accessible luxury in a beautiful historical location with the perfect balance of friendly professionalism. Loved the hotel, the grounds and the spa facilities. The restaurant served exceptional food and the service was excellent. A real escape!

Room was great best shower ever. Bed was huge very comfortable even the pillows which I am very fussy about. Breakfast was great - would like it even more if it offered porridge as I don’t eat cooked breakfasts.

A lovely historic building in a beautiful setting. Our room was in the main building and overlooked the picturesque grounds. It was charming and very comfortable. The guest information folder contained interesting information about the history of this fascinating place. The many original period features and cosy fireplaces enhance the ambiance of the place. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We also enjoyed using the Spa facilities - the lovely pool and the steam room & sauna - which are available to hotel guests. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and an excellent breakfast. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful grounds and architecture of the building. Bar area and restaurant was also nicely decorated. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The pool area was really nice with comfortable seats and lounging chairs.

A spectacular historic building, that had been decorated to a wonderful standard. We arrived later in the afternoon and our room was in an adjacent newish building. The beds were comfortable. The food we had were snacks and they were of a very high quality.

I loved the decor of the hotel and how they had embraced all the charm of an old country building. The fountain out the front was enjoyable at all times of day. The breakfast selection was nice and it was helpful that bathrobes were provided in the room so you could wander to the spa. The gentleman on the main reception was always smiling and very helpful.
