Hotel Overview

Set on Cerro da Piedade Hill, Boa Vista Hotel & Spa is within easy walking distance from Albufeira’s town centre and its sandy beaches. The bright rooms come with free WiFi and cable TV. Wooden furniture and brown leather furniture combine elegantly with white linens.

We were upgraded to a suite from a deluxe double with sea view, so we had a separate lounge and bedroom. We were given complimentary extras, as we were celebrating an anniversary. The breakfast times were very good and had something for everyones taste; even sourdough bread, which we often can't get at hotels. All staff were very courteous. The large double bed was very comfortable with mattress topper. We had already stayed in this area before, so location, was to our preference, in the quieter part of Albufeira up on the hill, we dont mind the walk back. Robes, pool towels, as well as the bath towels all included. Check out midday gives plenty of time after breakfast to pack and leave. Our bath was very comfortable with arm rests. We also had a separate shower and twin sinks. We had car hire and were out every day. There are so many beautiful views in this part of Portugal. Portimao, Lagos and Villamoura was within easy drive from Albufeira. Buses also good service. Parking was free by our hotel and not a problem. The tour train goes by and stops close to hotel to save a walk up and down to town, but does finish early evening, so the check times. We would definitely come back here and maybe make use Spa facilities next time, especially if there was a jacuzzi on the terrace by pool. The weather was 30' (October) so didn't need steam rooms etc but winter months spa facilities could be nice for a Dec-Feb stay. Good value for money for a 4* rating.

Breakfast good with large selection but seemed to be very short on staff in service. Comfortable bed and bedding, very clean overall. Beautiful furniture pieces in public halls etc.

Lovely view of the sea. Bed very comfortable. Jorge in reception was so nice & friendly couldn't be more helpful. Location excellent.
