Located at the heart of Alba Iulia and fostering an amazing view over the Citadel, Hotel Cetate offers antique-style rooms in a historical building.
At only a few steps away, the beautiful Reunification Cathedral and the Trail of the Gates of the Alba Carolina Fortress can be visited as well as most other touristic attractions within the city center.
Our hotel offers complimentary parking and free Wi-Fi for your convenience. Enjoy dining in our spacious restaurant, which serves both traditional Romanian cuisine and a variety of international dishes.
The rooms and suites are equipped with cable TV and small refrigerators. They feature carpeted floors and antique-style furniture that adds a touch of charm to your stay.
Transfers to and from Sibiu / Cluj Airport can be arranged upon request as well as guided tours or tickets for numerous cultural events in Alba Iulia.

The location is excellent, with free parking right in front (only a few dozen spots, but there was availability when we arrived). Breakfast and coffee were good, and the room was clean and warm (with A/C available if needed). Check-in and check-out were super fast. We arrived close to midnight though. The lobby and restaurant look nice. Overall, unbeatable value for money.

The hotel is 3 minutes away from the citadel, we were given rooms with a view over the city, park and mountains which looked amazing during the evening. The breakfast was great and it was pretty quiet.

The hotel is located across the street from the entrance to the citadel, the tourist area. Although the exterior looks outdated, the interior is beautifully furnished with good quality furniture. The breakfast is diversified, local products of good quality
