Room was nice, has everything you need. Location very good, in the historical heart of Nizwa. Just near to Nizwa souq. Host and reception super helpful, smiling and greeting. Best regards to Youssef :) and his sister (sorry, we couldn’t remember the beautiful but difficult name). Take care!!! :) :) :)

Alaqur View Inn is a most welcoming family hotel, placed in a beautifully restored traditional house. The owners and staff are very welcoming and always ready to help with anything the visitors need. Our room was big, elegant and spotlessly clean. Nizwa in general is a fantastic city with an unforgettable atmosphere, which exceeded our expectations. It became a highlight on our Omani itinerary.

Great location, central to the old town of Nizwa. The room was on the small side but had everything we needed and staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is on one of the main streets so you do hear people walking by during the day but overnight it was very peaceful. Definitely a good place to base yourself in Nizwa.

The location was impeccable and the staff made our life very enjoyable. We chose to stay in Nizwa for three days and from there to drive to the surrounding areas as a more convenient option. The hotel was the perfect base to do that. Very accessible parking and by the time we arrive after a long drive, the room was beautifully ready to rest before heading to the restaurants or the souk. Night in Nizwa is full of choices for dining, so not to have a kitchen in the hotel was an incentive to explore more. The architecture of Nizwa has small windows that often don’t open, but that is the reality of the old charm. For a Western couple like us, this was a very clean, convenient and friendly option with real value for money -and a very large room and bathtub too.

A beautiful room in a gorgeously renovated building. The decor is very cosy while keeping the room spacious and grand. The room looks exactly the same as in the listing's photos. We enjoyed a sunset and people watching from the terrace. Staff were friendly, helpful and very hospitable. Ahmed, the owner, even helped us to call a museum where we thought we'd lost something the day prior to our stay. His son, Yusef, sweetly gave us a goodbye gift as we checked out. The price was right for the experience.

The room was spacious and very clean and the location very central. The breakfast is served at another hotel close by and it was worth the extra money. The staff was also very helpful and polite!

The location is ideal - in the middle of the old town: 3 min from the fort and the market. The host is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious, generously sized, and reasonably priced. It is in a different building, 1 min walk away, on a nice terrasse.

The hotel is inside the old city. It was very clean and comfortable. The room was in traditional style with beautiful decorations. The stuff was extremely helpful and the owner was super friendly and he offer us a gift.
