The lodge was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed for an adult family self catering trip. Plenty of room, brilliant kitchen facilities and the most amazing and beautiful views The hot tub was fabulous and a real treat. The lodges are spread out so you feel private and not overlooked. Great to walk out to fjord and we saw the Aurora Borealis right outside the lodge. Extremely relieved to see the snow plough clear the roads on the park after heavy snow fall. Not far to drive from the airport or into Akureyri Town. Bonus supermarket on the way up from town to lodge. Plenty of choice including for those with any dairy free, gluten free or vegan needs. Fagravik is Signposted well from road 1.

The location was perfect. Close to the city of Akureyri and its shops, but in a quiet, rural setting with views of the fjord.

The property was nice and quiet, with excellent surroundings of horses, birds, trees. The location was approx 8k north of town, which we loved. Bedroom was small, but not uncomfortable. Lounge & dining area, with kitchen, were a good size. Cabins, all well spaced from each other.

This was a great place to spend a few days while exploring this side of Iceland. It is located a few minutes outside of Akureyri just off the main road. Easy to find, and the location made it very quiet. Facilities were a bit small, but completely serviceable. Good kitchen, comfy sitting area, nice dining area and a decent sleeping area. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking for our three days. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to book again in the future.
