Tasteful local decor in room and common areas. Friendly hotel staff offered us freshly brewed leaf tea when we had to kill some time after check out

Very friendly staff. We arrived early before 8 am and they quickly prepared our rooms and let us check in early without any additional charge. It was very helpful as we could get some rest and refresh ourselves after long trip.

The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean . The bed was comfortable. Katerina was friendly and welcoming though she didn't keep her promise to keep a packed breakfast out for us when we left at 6am. We mistakenly took the room keys with us but have posted them to her. One more thing. The water in the tap was scalding and the taps difficult to adjust.

the comments are absolutely true, the staff really makes this place stand out. the metro is a bit far but it's manageable and with that you can reach all the important sights.

The owner was amazing, she made sure we had breakfast - at any time, even early morning before any trips we booked. She gives you so much and it all tastes amazing. The location is a bit further away than the centre but it’s quiet and safe. It’s also really cheap to get yandex and taxis so would absolutely recommend. WiFi works perfectly. Rooms are lovely. Bed are harder than usual bed in the uk but I liked that. Plus they are very big. Would advise anyone to stay at the Shahar

July 2024 - excellent and even better when you receive excellent value for money. Katarina the Manager had the place running like clockwork and nothing was too much trouble. Room is large and extremely comfortable just like 5 star. We highly recommend and obviously the decor makes you feel like you are in Uzbekistan.
