The owner is really kind. She always smiles and tries to help us whenever we ask. The location is the next to the castle. The breakfast is good, too.

The hotel is right at beginning of the stairways leading up to the fortress, the lady that welcome was super nice and helpfull and the breakfast is huge and one of the best i had in Georgia

For sure georgian people are the most hospitable and nice. Golden Gate was the best stay we had in our long trip from Romania. The nice lady that owns the place helped us with the laundry, made for us an overwhealming breakfast and made sure everything was perfect during our stay. We could park safely our motorbike and we left with a big smile. Thank you a lot!

Eka was a lovely host! Very kind, attentive and with a positive attitude. She ensured we had all we needed and was always available in case we had any questions. The location of the guest house is perfect for visiting the castle and for good restaurants just opposite the road. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable!

Eka is a very welcoming and charming host. The breakfast is simple, but definetely filling and divers. She took a lot of time to communicate and help me out with my questions. Her husband even drove me to Vardzia. Nice bed, nice room, nice location, very pleasant stay.

Very close to the Akhaltskhe Castle. Immediately after leaving the hotel, there are stairs leading up to the castle. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. She invited me to dinner. She was willing to extend my checkout time, it was great helpful and I was able to do some sightseeing on the last day as well.
