Very nice accomodation with private access to the sea. The hosts were always around and very helpful. The outside bathtube is great for stargazing

Fantastic wooden comfortable cabin set in a garden overlooking Akaroa Harbour. Love a kitchen that has cookbooks, espeically Eilizabeth David books.

So many things to mention. Nicky and Fran could not have been more welcoming or gracious hosts, spoiling us with unexpected home made treats each day. The space itself is beautiful; roomy but comfortable with the most amazing views. The garden is the icing on the cake; obviously a labour of love and it shows. There is total privacy especially when using the huge out door copper bath, a truly magical experience, like living on your own estate. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Absolutely stunning views. So nice to watch the sun set over the bay from the balcony. Good facilities for cooking and coffee. Comfy, clean and beautiful. Lots of great books. Our hosts Nicky and Fran did everything possible to make our stay special, from duck eggs to homemade chocolate delivery! Cannot rate this place highly enough.

Excellent! Peaceful and relaxing - we couldn't rate Mumfords any higher. Wonderful hosts, gorgeous views, house and gardens were beautiful, super comfy bed and pillows and a romantic outdoor bath. We were made to feel so welcome - we'd definitely come again!

We felt at peace at Mumford's. If you want to rest your mind and soul this is spot for you! It really is a haven of Nature, sea, light, flora and fauna. We loved every minute! Tuis, Kererus, in the trees right at the balcony with a gorgeous view! The gardens, the house - just incredible! And on top of all this, Nicki's and Fran's warm hospitality and all the home made treats! Thank you so much for having us!
