Location was good and room was clean and had everything we needed eg kitchen items, bathroom extras. Really appreciated the heater in the room as it was chilly weather whilst we were there.

Spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. Loved the little patio space surrounded by trees and greenery. Location was perfect, within short walking distance of town and easy access to sea front.

The unit was lovely and spacious so I was able to have morning tea with my grandchildren while we waited for the rain to stop. The position allowed us walking access to the town and off street parking.

There are only about 9 or 10 units here ( which was nice) We had unit 7 upstairs. It was quite spacious with a lovely private outdoor patio facing a garden area. There was no breakfast / meals provided but the unit had self catering arrangements. La Rochelle was located at one end of Akaroa bay with a pub pretty nearby but most other cafes etc were a bit of a walk ( which we did a lot of as it was so beautiful there) .Highly recommend “ The Common” cafe…had both breakfasts and a lunch there. Fabulous and the staff there are great. Would recommend La Rochelle .

The host is very kind and helpfull and has perfect suggestions to make you stay and seeing the surrounding unforgettable. The room has any comfort you need and everything is super clean. Perfect place to stay.
