This accommodation is a little slice of heaven on the beach. The host- Catarina and the lovely staff make it feel like a home from home. Comfortable rooms and a 15 minute walk into the main part of town.

Solas surf is a very beautiful decorated hotel, in a nice location in Ahangama, close to everything but in a quiet area. The team is super nice and helpful , the dogs very cute, and the food they cook is just delicious. We decided to have dinner there one day , and even though the prices were higher that anywhere else, it was definitely worth it.

This place completely exceeded our expectations. The property is well laid out in an amazing location and the amenities were high quality. Food was amazing and the menu had a great variety of seafood and various locally inspired dishes. Also the added bonus was that they had a good mix of activities you could participate like a sunset yoga, surf lessons which were conducted by a certified coach on a personalised basis which we really enjoyed, then they had Muay Thai as well for those who want a full workout. But actually, just chilling by the beach in the large garden was great experience.

One of the best hotels. Very clean, good beach, the staff gave me so much care, trying to make my vacation an amazing one. Cooked different delicious seafood for dinner, avocado toast for breakfast. I had yoga classes at sunset and massage with tasty mint oil. Really enjoyed staying here

If you are reading on Booking.com … this property shouldn’t 9.7 …. It should be 10+ Robinson Crusoe meets stylish urban chic…. Solas Surf offers surf and yoga , and so much more! Anousha and her team work hard to offer the highest standards of hospitality, nothing too much trouble and attention to detail within the property and service is sublime . The Solas Surf Team- “The Boys” offer big smiles and food which would be comfortable at any reputable establishment. Always going the extra mile to please …organising trips and arranging one of their handpicked drivers for tut tut or taxi. Surfing catered for all levels , great for beginner like me when you have the wonderful patient, gentle , smiley Amila to guide you - even managed to get me up in a board . There are other more luxurious properties nearby , but don’t bother, as they’re not able to offer what this place can ! Enjoy - we most certainly did !!
