Fantastic experience. Very nice family who served breakfast when you want it. A delicious dinner was also served. Nice new rooms and a great common area with a well-equipped new kitchen upstairs. Walking distance to Marshmallow and Kabalana beach/surf spot. Booked 8 days, stayed 1 month and will definitely return.

I try not to give a 10 too often, but this place definitely deserves it. It is a lovely quiet place (far enough from the main road). The family is very helpful and kind. The girl that brought me my breakfast had the nicest smile that brightens up your day instantly. I had a few small issues but they were resolved as soon as i mentioned them. The breakfast was amazing each morning. Also finally a room with some ambient lighting and not only just some bright white light. The nearest beach has sand breaks (and reef breaks a little bot firther right) which was perfect for me. And right next to it is a pizza place where they make the best, crispiest pizzas. At a 5 minute walk you can also find a good affordable massage place (princess spa). I booked for 2 nights but ended up staying 5. :) Also the experience of Ahangama was more authentic then any of the other places i've been.
