breakfast was excellent. fresh fruits, olives, greek yogurt, home made jams, olive tapenade, fresh breads. eggs, meats cheeses. good cofee. can't be beat. staff was friendly, attentive and responsive. family-run. free loan of beach gear. great location.

The Moustakis Hotel is a fantastic find - it’s incredibly close to the heart of Kefalonia - the beaches, the shops, the cafes. It’s incredibly clean, and the owners are very hospitable and friendly. The view from the room was stunning too (sea view). Would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Agia Efimia and if/when we return to Kefalonia we will definitely be staying at the Moustakis!

This accommodation is a solid two star hotel. The major pluses for me were that the staff were friendly and happy to help. The hotel was clean, and there were areas of the hotel's original 70's furniture and features still visible. There was also, as noted by another reviewer, 'an unexpectedly good breakfast'. The location was good, with the best restaurant in the village next door, and just short walk to the harbour, shops and other restaurants. I would stay here again.

Best location. Near the centre of town. Allowed us to get to know the owners of the outstanding restaurant (Pergola) next door as well as the travel agency (Greka) around the corner which also has a taxi service which allowed us to get around easily. The man at the front desk in the evening was eager to help with anything, including providing an extension cord for us. The whole place was very clean.

I liked the lift and balconies in every room! It was cleaned EVERYDAY, super clean and the staff was very nice. Location was the best possible!

Location was great . A bit of noise from elevator and car traffic on road . breakfast was nice selection.Hotel staff very nice and helpful.

Very friendly staff , exceptionally clean, great breakfast . Ample free parking nearby, short walk to all amenities, 2 seating areas with comfy chairs, small but adequate balcony view exactly as described.

This hotel is Agia Effimia’s best kept secret! Stayed in two others in the town, and this beats them hands down by a long shot, price too. Great location, lovely staff, fast wifi, clean and comfortable. couldn’t have been happier.
