I didn’t know what to expect and I absolutely loved this place , I hope I can return soon. The staff at reception. Shop and restaurant are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location is great with walking distance to several beaches as well as supermarkets and the rest

Very easy to get to from Chania by bus 21- bus stop next to camping, about 18 minutes from Chania's main bus stop. Had no car, jumped on the bus at the airport (far right side as you leave, tiny booth to buy ticket which was 2.5 euro pp, arrive at Chania only bus stop, leave bus stop and go few meters to main road, there is bus stop on the same side as bus stop, hoop in and buy ticket from driver, tell him chania camping, cost 2 euros pp card or cash, everyone speak English at bus stops and ticket places and information points) Reception is open 24hrs - very friendly and accommodating guys. Camping has everything you need, a little shop for your basics, decent prices at site's bar and restaurant, beer 3 euros august 2024, there's Lidl nearby. Decent (and warm)swimming pool, clean showers and toilets with toilet paper.seen cleaning staff non stop cleaning. I used the cheapest tent, very basic but it has a small fridge inside, electric socket, table and chairs, also outside, and it is massive.take your own UK to eu electric converter and small few socket power extension.Excellent free wi-fi.no other furniture. Mattress hard-ish, with cover and pillow only, for extra bed sheets additional charge. No Aircon but I think you can hire fans? Was there during 40C day and 30C at night and I didn't use it, the trees provide a shade. Be prepared for extreme noise - cicadas, this was shocking, the noise is very loud day and night.Communal kitchen with pans and pots to cook.Laundry. This is not a luxury camp but laid back and providing all what you need for a nice stay. no silly wrist bands which for me is always a bonus. the first beach is 2 min walk from the camp, very shallow and calm sea, sandy with little tiny stones just as you enter water, has a toilet and shower, can rent a parasol or use plenty of trees for shade. many great beaches you can walk to. Next to camp is a few large bars and places to eat with happy hrs. Would be happy to use it again.

The tent was spacious and stood in a nice shade. They offer a place to cook and to do the dishes, you have your own fridge in the tent along with electricity. The lavatories get cleaned frequently. There is a quite decent beach nearby.

We loved the size of the tent, the way everything inside was arranged for us and the cleanliness both inside and in front of the tent. The location is great as the camp is situated in Chania and only a few minutes away you have shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly.
