The staff were lovely. The food at The Den was ordinary. The breakfast was terrific. The mattress was too soft and I developed a sore lower back after two nights sleeping on it. The bathroom floor was dirty and there was a beer bottle top left on the carpet, from a previous guest, when we arrived. I asked for the bathroom floor to be washed, which they did, and the carpet to be vacuumed to remove the beer bottle top, which they did not do. We left it there for them to see if the next guest asks them to remove it. Overall the carpeted floor seemed clean, but it was badly stained in a number of heavy traffic areas. Probably needs replacing.

Liked the choices for breakfast. Bed was very comfortable. Like the proximity to tram. Reception charged my phone for me as I had lost my cord.
