The house was in a spectacular location overlooking the Duoro valley. The lounge and breakfast room were lovely. Room was very nice, bed was comfortable. We were the only guests that night but hosts still provided a beautiful breakfast. Manuela and Jose were wonderful hosts. Highly recommend the Golden Mirror Hotel

We loved the staff, the pool and the amazing view! Rooms were big and equipped with aircon and netflix, such a plus! It was a lovely family owned hotel with a warm feel♥️ Family cat was soo cute too🐈

This place was a gem find and fantastic value. It's in a great location above the city and the Douro River, with spectacular view's and a very tranquil environment. The host and staff are very helpful and pleasant. The property is kept immaculate, and someone here has an eye for detail. Everything is working and perfect, down to the scented monogrammed linen, comfortable bed, and amazing included breakfast 🤗

great location, 5 min by car to Regoa and 10 min by car to Lamego. wonderfull breakfast with panoramic view of beutifull Douro Valley! the hotel was clean and safe and the staff was very nice and wellcoming!

We explored the Douro valley travelling between places by taxi, and where previously we selected quintas based on dinner service, this was a relatively new, clean place to stay for a night near a town enabling us to have a choice of restaurants. Host was attentive and gave us a recommendation for dinner which turned out to be our favourite meal of the whole trip - Casa da Rua in Lamego, fabulous! The pool was bigger than it looks on the photos and had a fabulous view towards Regua.
