Comfortable stay close to Addo Elephant Park. Nice swimming pool (not so big but when we were there it was not too busy so it didn’t bother us). We also liked the springboks that were grazing on the grass between the accommodations. The sanctuary with crocodiles, snakes and a lot of birds is also a nice addition.

Superb location close to the Addo elephant park and local shops, beautiful grounds and rooms. Springbok walking past your door all day. The staff are so helpful and knowledgeable and great with the kids. The private game reserve tour with dinner was fantastic. Our guide Richard was super knowledgable, and helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had a great day especially our kids. We had such a wonderful stay.

Lovely setting with spring bok running around, an animal farm on site, a great play area for the kids. Friendly and helpful staff. They baked a delicious carrot cake for my husbands birthday, which was the best carrot cake we have ever eaten 😋

The room and facilities were amazing and its a great location for visiting Addo National Park. The décor in the main areas is lovely. However communication and service was not great! I booked this hotel on friends recommendations and based on the fact that the restaurant was open for Xmas Eve & Christmas Day night (in fact I reserved tables with the hotel prior to my stay). I informed the hotel that we would be arriving about 7.30pm on Xmas Eve - no problem they said! So we pick up our hire car and drive to the hotel - to find the gates locked, no reception or staff manning the telephone and NO commination on what to do! Slight panic.....are we going to have to spend Xmas in the car? After telephoning the property ended in failure I decided to vent my frustration by hitting the car horn for several minutes - which did the trick of attracting the security guards attention.....(btw he was really helpful and enabled us to access the property and room). Other issues were that on the day of our travel the hotel informed they would also be closed on Xmas Eve.....trying to find alternative restaurants at this late stage and due to our flights itinerary was impossible and stressful!!! However after communicating with the hotel I suggested that we have a food platter for Xmas Eve (I'm easily pleased lol).. I asked that the food platter be left in the fridge as we would not be arriving until 7.30pm.....sooooo......was the food platter ok - yes it was - was it edible....No it wasn't...the food had been left out of the fridge for several hours and being chicken it probably was not a safe bet to eat! So what do we do now - starve?? Back to the security guard who luckily found a kitchen assistant who kindly opened the kitchens and made us up some bread, cheese and ham. Would I stay here again - yes for the facilities and with fingers crossed that communications would be improved!
