The house is very comfortable and located in a beautiful area. You need a car to move around but it was not a problem for us. The lemon trees were quite an attraction and the view for etna is unbeatable. We enjoyed ourselves there very much.

The house was very clean and spacious. Leo lives nearby, he's very friendly and helpful, he came straight away to fix a minor repair when we let him know about it. The best thing about the property is the huge, fantastic garden. We loved eating breakfast outside every day and relaxing on the terrace, with wonderful views of Etna and the sea, and watching all the birds. The smell of the lemon blossom was so nice and it was lovely being able to help ourselves to some of the fruit. You do need a car if you are staying here, but it is pretty close to the main roads and easy to find restaurants and supermarkets. We drove to some of the nearby towns, to Taormina, Siracuse and different areas around Etna. If you're happy not staying in a busy town or city, we would definitely recommend Profumo Di Zagara, it's so peaceful. You get the best of both worlds, a lovely calm place to stay, but close enough to easily visit the busier touristy places.
