The facilities at Filokalia are first class. We have stayed there previously and will definately return. The location is perfect, away from the center of Skiathos town, but within easy access via bus or water taxi (the best route!) Pool area and pool bar were spotless. Good selection of food, especially the breakfast.

This hotel was a fantastic find. Lots of guests we met during our stay had stayed her year after year, and I can see why. The staff were so friendly, it was like staying with family. The location was perfect and very close to the bus stop. The pool area is really nice with very comfortable sun loungers.

I was here for the second time and the accommodation and staff were again excellent. There are new comfortable sunbeds by the pool this year. Great food and drinks at the bar and good prices. We also had a Greek evening here with a nice program where we even danced. I will be happy to come back.

Really really lovely owner and workers, awesome pool and gardens - very beautiful. Easy to get into town by bus. Very well priced. Everything was great, our only issue was that there was no stovetop area as advertised and we had planned to cook first night. We still managed to get by and totally understandable not having one - owner might just want to update the pictures. Overall would highly recommend filokalia if you are in skiathos.
