Hotel Overview

The Aberdeen Altens Hotel is 3 miles from the city centre and just 1 mile from the coast. The Altens has modern rooms with en suite bathrooms and boasts a sauna, spa and indoor pool.
Each room has a satellite TV, hairdryer and work desk. Wireless internet is available throughout the hotel and parking is available at the cost of £3.00 per night.

Please note children are welcome to use the leisure facilities, but those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The adult must be in the pool with them and a maximum of two children per adult.
Pool opening times for children under 16 are Monday – Thursday 07:00 – 19:30, Friday – Sunday unlimited.
Access to the Health Club and swimming pool are complimentary but not guaranteed, if the pool is at capacity.
Please note last entry to the Health & Leisure club is one hour before closing.
Children's meals are not included, and additional charges apply, payable to the hotel directly.

The hotel staff were friendly, the room was clean, quiet and warm (it was minus 6 outside) and the bed was very comfortable. Shower hot and powerful. We ate breakfast and dinner and the food was very tasty, with a good selection including veggie options.

the room is not small, just might need a renovation in the near future, it's a bit out dated. Carpet looked old.
