Lovely traditional building which has been sympathetically modernised inside to create a really good hotel. Manages to present genteel elegance but keeps comfort and welcoming atmosphere - the best of traditional Aberdeen. Great staff who are both professional and caring. Consistently delicious food. Provided a perfect “home” through the ups and downs of a family member’s extended hospital stay. Never once felt awkward as a solo traveller.

Comfy bed, clean room with everything you needed, great bar and restaurant with good food and friendly staff. Wendy from the restaurant was fantastic. Location was good for hospital and town etc and off street parking

The venue is lovely, breakfast was good and the bathroom was done to a noticeably high standard. Staff were friendly too.

Staff were superb throughout our staff from our arrival til departure. Superb dinner and breakfast, roast beef dinner was excellent and breakfast freshly prepared and served to the table. Excellent waiting staff throughout, very courteous and professional.

This is a well managed city hotel with very good dining and exceptional staff who are both well trained and caring. Traditional feel, privately owned, refreshingly non chain and a good quality dining venue (much liked by a slightly older local demographic for a genteel get together). No one is dialling in their shift here. It’s a traditional Aberdeen building with extension providing good quality accommodation, off street parking and a convenient location for business, the hospital and leisure travellers.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Our room was ideal, the parking great and the breakfast hit the spot! Great value for money at our favourite Aberdeen hotel.

It was a very good location for visiting Aberdeen Royal infirmary and a lovely well run hotel. Quiet,yet a busy popular place, room very nicely laid out and not a second rate room just because it was for single occupancy. But the staff are the best feature. Professional yet kind and friendly, efficient but warm and caring. Everything you hope a hotel will be - thank you all.
