The location is amazing. The beds are comfortable, warm and very quiet. The bathroom is a disaster. Dirty and the shower is practically broken and unusable - the bathtub faucets saved me. Upon arrival the lady at the reception was incompetent and did not know whether my 4 year old child pays for breakfast half or all and said that she would inform me and then zero inform. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Not vacuumed properly. The bathroom tiles are dirty. 2 cups for 3 people and no glasses. The ladies serving breakfast were wonderful, competent and very helpful. The way to the room was very long through 3 corridors with 2 children, it was very tiring. The lack of a fridge in the room was a big minus. Windows without any view in the city center are very depressing. Despite the advantages, I will never return to this hotel.

Perfect location Excellent Bistro with outstanding catering on site.Several choices for entertainment and bars within easy walking distance.20 minute walk to beach Staff were knowledgeable and helpful.There is a lift available and disabled access and toilets .It is a listed building but with modern facilities but keeping a nod to its history.Would recommend a visit.

The hotel was historic but well decorated and nice and warm. The radiator in the room was easy to use - not like some where you need a degree i engineering to work it out - bed comfy and toom spacious. We went to Molly's bistro - aall good - breakfast also good with friendly staff throughout

Great location from the train station, only 5 mins walk. Very clean, modern hotel that was great value for money. Staff are very helpful.

This is a basic hotel in the heart of Aberdeen. Cheap and cheerful. Staff are lovely and the Irish pub is great. It is basic but perfect for a stop over.
