We arrived the hotel early and the staff checked us in despite of the timing. The staff were all very accommodating and the room was really clean and spacious. Location was also very convenient for us. It was just next to the train station.

The location is excellent for the station. Around 20 mins walk into the centre with lots of shops and restaurants. Aachen Centre is lovely, and the xmas market was good. The hotel is very basic and fairly noisy as lots of large groups were staying. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The shower room was also a good size, and the hairdryer was much better than the normal built-in hotel hairdryers. The shower was good but old, and the fittings were a bit corroded. The bar/lounge area is ample but unable to get served as very short staffed, and often, only 1 guy is checking in a huge queue and no one else manning the bar. Good Wifi is available throughout the hotel. The hotel is great value for money. Our stay worked out about 65 euros per night, so I can't complain at that. It is much better value than other budget hotels.
