“A great find bear a beautiful beach. Lovely friendly staff.”

The hotel is beautiful with great grounds. The beach it leads to is stunning and quiet. Beautiful walks along in the morning and evening and it is not spoilt by tourists. The staff are wonderful too! They were so good with our baby daughter and often played with her during the day giving us a little bit of respite. We really enjoyed the food too, especially the fish!

As already written in some previous reviews there is an extremely kind staff that took great care of everything. But if I had to single out one detail that really impressed me, it would be the Uppuveli beach. We were almost alone on the beach and felt a bit like castaways on a deserted island. Just like an Eden. And all the fresh fish and fruit gave it that nice touch.

I came here mainly for yoga. I had already heard from friends about the great combination of Sri Lanka and yoga. There are many temples in the area, like the Thirukkoneswaram Kovil Temple. If you want to experience Buddhism first hand, this is the perfect place. The people at the resort were very helpful and took great care of me. What I appreciate most is the peacefulness here and where the resort is located. You also have privacy and the beautiful nature to enjoy.
