The location was Idyllic with views of the mountains and nothing else for miles around! It is a beautiful place and extremely peaceful. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Its full of character and truly authentic!

The staff were so so so lovely. For the price and what you get we felt it was incredible value, lovely scenery to look out on, a pool, nice shaded areas to escape the heat, incredible sunsets. There is an honesty bar with pool and other games. We have no kids but there was a really great sized kids play area and trampoline. I also cannot emphasise enough how great the staff were, from check in to meals! We did a one day aquila Safari and the location was great as it is a 20-30 minute drive (depending on car as with the dirt track from tousriver we went a little more slowly just in case) and meant we could relax after. We chatted to a few people who had done a day trip to aquila and had a 2.5 hour trip back to cape town. For the price, location etc. definitely worth staying a couple of nights. If you would like a few more nights of tranquility a great location and you can explore more too.
