Great staff, happy and very accommodating but the accommodation I was given was the lower level of the larger 2 storey building and not the bungalow style, which although had a nice traditional character, was not well designed for the customer's that unluckily get the lower level, as you can hear absolutely every little thing the people in the upper level are doing, and I mean everything 😕. Didn't sleep well the night before my Rinjani hike, and I suggest anyone booking a room here to avoid any of the lower level rooms in the main building. The location of the hotel is right at the top of town and a bit quiter than most, and the grounds, gardens and environment are very pleasant. The staff are polite and very freindly especially at the small restaurant, and if I had not been given the uncomfortable lower level room I would have been satisfied with the above average price of my stay.

The staff are extremely attentive and so incredibly caring. I cannot emphasise this enough. Even when I was leaving the next morning early for a hike they made me a pre-prepared breakfast and even gave me a hot thermos flask with coffee so I could have a hot drink before leaving.

Lovely staff and beautiful place with wonderful atmosphere. The food was delicious and local made. They helped us with an early breakfast before we went off climbing Rinjani. I spent 4 weeks in Indonesia and this was my favourite accomodation with the best staff and best breakfast as well.
