A really nice place run by a friendly and helpful family! The bed was really comfortable and the room and shower was spacious. Breakfast was very good! Also very close to lots of major attractions like Rinjani National Park and various waterfalls and rice terraces.

Great value for money - really clean, close to the waterfalls (I went by foot to see them), extremely helpful and nice people there. Nun, Jules and Fun are always smiling (I know I didn’t write your names correctly, please forgive me :) )

We fully enjoyed the stay by Jul and Nun. They are so welcoming people and ready to help with anything. We stayed for 5 nights and did a Mt. Rinjani trek where Jul can help as he is a guide. The accommodation is clean, nicely furnished and in a beautiful place near the jungle, close to shop and traditional village. There is a mosque nearby but not a problem, you will get earplugs from Jul if you are soft sleeper. The breakfast was tasty and Ila Homestay has a restaurant in case you get hungry during the day. Nun is able to help you with the laundry as well. We were a bit sad to leave the place and definitely would recommend to the ones who want to visit Senaru. I truly hope we meet with Jul and Nun again and wish them the very best.

Ila Homestay is a great place to visit when you come to Senaru. The owner is an amazing guy who helps out with everything and the food is delicious. I would also greatly recommend booking the Rinjani trecking with Ila Homestay. We had Phann as a guide and he gave us the best experience we could hope for, together with the two porters. The food was plentiful and they gave us many great stories about the volcano and its history.

We were a group of 5 people staying there two nights, The homestay is just short walking distance from the entrance to the waterfalls. There are 4 just built comfy and spacious rooms, large bathroom with good supply of hot water. Food was based on their meny. Special order could also be placed and Nun the lady of the house would make the arrangements. Her tempeh and tahu goreng is to die for. Same thing applied for luch and dinner. Nun is an excellent cook and all her Indonesian dishes we tried were all very good. All our transports car/boat was arranged by them to very fair prices and without any misshapps. They do also arrange trekking (Rinjani) and other tours in the neighbourhood with reliable and good english speaking guides.

The staff was very nice and friendly. We were able to book our Rinjani Trek with them, and we had the best time. Really good price-quality ratio. I will come back.
