Hosts were some of the nicest people I met in Sri Lanka. The apartment had everything I needed and I ended up extending my stay by a week. The apartment had very reliable hot water (many places don't in Sri Lanka) and the air con was a godsend in the heat. I loved the location as it was a little setback from the main touristy area of Mirissa but I could easily walk to the beach/Mirissa. The apartment is in a jungle area so very peaceful and you can see lots of animals. The hosts even offered a laundry service which was so helpful. There's also a wonderful restaurant called The Change Restaurant and Juice Bar just at the end of the road, definitely visit. I went multiple times as the food was delicious and the owner was so lovely.
